Welcome to HAPPY FRIDAY. These Terms govern your use of happyfriday.fm (“the Site”), our PLUS subscription service, mercantile purchases, and all digital content. By accessing the Site or joining our membership, you agree to these Terms.
1. The PLUS Subscription
HAPPY FRIDAY PLUS is a digital membership providing access to a private podcast feed, episode archives, and exclusive member content.
- Access: Your membership is for your personal, non-commercial use only. Login credentials and private podcast keys may not be shared or redistributed.
- Fees & Renewals: The membership is an annual commitment of $69. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file automatically each year.
- Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your Account dashboard. Cancellation will prevent future renewals, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing cycle.
2. Digital Goods & Refunds
Due to the immediate, proprietary nature of our digital content and private feed access, PLUS subscriptions are non-refundable once the member area has been accessed or the private feed has been activated.
3. The PLUS Store (Mercantile)
We offer curated physical goods, including limited-run apparel and items.
- Fulfillment: Orders are processed and shipped within a reasonable timeframe. You will receive a “Shipped” notification once your items are in transit.
- Returns: Because many items are produced in small batches, all sales are final. However, if an item arrives damaged or defective, please notify us at hello@happyfriday.fm within 7 days of delivery so we can make it right.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site—including audio, text, “The Friday Letters,” and branding—is the intellectual property of HAPPY FRIDAY and Kevin Roman. You are granted a limited license to stream and download content for personal enjoyment. Reproduction or commercial use of any material is strictly prohibited.
5. Communications
By creating an account or subscribing to PLUS, you agree to receive essential service communications regarding your membership. You will also receive our weekly “Friday Letters”; you may opt-out of these editorial emails at any time without affecting your membership status.
6. User Conduct
We built this space for a high-fidelity community. Any attempt to scrape data, circumvent digital rights management (DRM), or misuse the private podcast feed will result in immediate termination of access without refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Site and all content are provided “as is.” While we strive for the highest broadcast quality, HAPPY FRIDAY is not liable for service interruptions, third-party podcast app compatibility issues, or technical inaccuracies.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
