This episode is dedicated to the legacy of Giorgio Armani. As my last living design role model, he has inspired me since I was 15. When I first read in 1982 that he had decorated his new apartment “by taking things off the walls,” it—like his impeccable devotion to quality and his fusion of luxury and minimalism—blew my mind.
RIP, Signor Armani.
